Weight Management

Join the FREE Want That Change 16-Week Weight Management Programme!

We’re excited to offer a 16-week, group-based programme designed to support our local community in achieving healthier lifestyles. This isn’t just about losing weight—it’s about transforming your approach to wellness with a psychologically-informed model that looks at the bigger picture of health.

What to Expect:

Each session runs for 1.5 hours, with an optional 30-minute drop-in before or after for extra support. Every week, we’ll dive into a different topic, covering everything from:

  • Understanding nutrition and portion sizes
  • The role of sleep in health and weight management
  • Metabolism: What affects it, and how to avoid weight loss plateaus
  • Health implications of weight and how to manage conditions like PCOS, endometriosis, hypercholesterolemia, menopause, depression, anxiety, and more
  • Reversing diabetes, lowering your risk of cardiovascular disease and hypertension …and much more!

This Is NOT a Diet Programme

We’re moving away from the old ideas of cutting calories or eliminating entire food groups without truly understanding the reasons behind it. This is a healthy lifestyle intervention, designed to provide you with the tools and knowledge for lifelong change—not short-term fixes. Our practitioners are experts in nutrition and exercise as medicine, specialising in weight management. They will empower you to understand the “why” behind your weight and guide you through different methods until you find one that works for you.

Empowering, Not Instructing

We don’t believe in telling you what to do. Instead, our programme is about guidance and support. You’ll learn how thoughts, emotions, and feelings affect your choices, and we’ll help you develop strategies to overcome obstacles like stress, brain fog, make healthier decisions, and maintain long-term success.

Why Are We Offering This for Free?

Because we believe in giving back to our community and helping those around us live their healthiest, happiest lives. We want to share the knowledge and support to help you create lasting change.

I am nervous about group settings do you do online?

Yes we do some online courses, however these are limited as we try to promote social engagement in the community, so would prefer Face to face, although we do recognise that some people may be unable to leave their homes or get to a group, so in these circumstance we can offer online sessions.

What time and days are the sessions on?

We run various groups so the days and times will vary, our practitioners will discuss these with you at the initial consultation and will fit you into a group more suited to your timetable.

We recognise that availability of free time to take this course is different for everyone, so unlike most of these types of groups we do cover weekends and late evenings as well as weeekdays, mornings, afternoon and early evenings.

Is everything confidential?

Yes absolutley what happens in group stays in the group and we do not share your your details with anyone.

The only time we would share any details is if there was a risk of immediate harm to you.

Do i have to have my weight taken and shared with everyone?
